Exactly what's on the label here: the Premium Detail includes a 1-year coating, and the Gtechniq package is rated for 3 years with normal washing. Florida sun is brutal — claims of 'lifetime' coatings deserve skepticism.
Wax sits on top of paint and survives weeks; ceramic chemically bonds to the clear coat and survives years. Coating costs more upfront but wins on protection, gloss retention, and how easy the car is to keep clean.
Skip automatic brush washes. Hand wash (or book Basic Washes) with pH-neutral soap, and the coating keeps beading like day one. You'll notice dirt rinses off with far less effort.
